October 2009 

The Committee would like to acknowledge the generous Funds provided from the Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund. The Grant of $21,397.24 has enabled the purchase of Trollies,Computer and desk,High Quality  Printer/Scanner and Showcases and Plinths for the Gallery.

December 2009 

The Inaugural SANTOS ACQUISITIVE SCULPTURE AWARD 2009 has been a great event for the Gallery and the Roma Community Arts Centre.
The spectacular winning sculpture, "The Travellers" by Gary Chrisitan was unveiled on Nov 19th. and now stands in place in front of the Centre which houses the Gallery.The Award was widely advertised and we thank those from across Australia who submitted entries.

May 2010

The 2010 Award has now been advertised in national and local media. Once again we look forward to receiving entries and anticipate some stunning contenders.
